Favorite print?

Kind of a piggyback off of DonF's thread on Nancy Whitehead, but I didn't want to hijack.

What is your favorite Sporting dog / Hunting print, painting, artist, ect? I really like some of Robert K. Abbett's stuff. My favorite of his is his "Edge Of The Cornfield" print. Last summer I finally purchased it from the "Snowgoose Gallery" framed, signed and numbered 720 of 750 limited edition prints.

Its ahh-mazing.

My favorite artist is Terry Redlin. Last year I did a diorama of one of his paintings, "Comforts of Home". I sent him a letter and some pictures of it and I received a reply from his secretary. She told me that Mr. Redlin had been suffering from altheimers and wouldn't be able to comprehend my letter, but would have greatly appreciated it. I love Rosemary Millette's pheasants, especially the print "Forgotten Fenceline".
My favorite all time print is "Armistice Day Blizzard" by Michael Sieve. My dad was duck hunting that famous day. Anyone who wants some interesting reading concerning waterfowl hunters, just google Armistice Day Blizzard.

John Ruthven, a local to SW Ohio and an avid grouse hunter from Georgetown, OH. A contributor to RGS in SW OH. He has some duck stamps to his credit and is a great guy. Had breakfast many times with him before grouse hunts.

Hayden Lambson, and Zoellick, Jamie Carter come to mind. My very favorite is from Lee Teter titled "Reflections" and his Bio is also very interesting. I "reflect" on it often.

Funny, I just saw this tonight, as I recieved an email that I had just won a print that was up for auction at the pennsylvania Turkey hunters get together. I was texted the print this am and had to have it. I don't know who it is by yet but wanted it on my wall.

Ross Young is amazing! I hope to have a dog win one of the trials that Ross does a print for someday. Neal Anderson is also amazing. I worked with Neal for a few years. He's a great person. I think he's had 2 or 3 federal duck stamps.

T-shirt, shirt, long-sleeve, polo or sweater? What's your favorite print? I like colors and graphics. But then again, I'm a guy. Our breed isn't really into subtlety or prints that are barely there (like certain text). So I try to diversify my clothing collection as much as possible — I have over 50 shirts currently in my closet. Not all of them are my favorite print either.

I far prefer to take pictures of MY dog and have them enlarged and framed. Why buy someone's that doesn't depict your dog when you can easily have an original far cheaper. I do yearly calendars of mine and send a dozen a year to friends and breeders.

Every bit of misplaced ire towards others on this forum has always seemed to stem from the same place. If someone’s enjoyment somehow diminishes your own, one may do well to ask themselves, why? I don’t count myself as an exception.

Not saying that at all. I'm saying I like seeing my dog's in settings I have been in. No offense to anyone else's views. I like looking at a photo on the wall and remembering that day and dog. For those that prefer paintings, fine.
