I far prefer to take pictures of MY dog and have them enlarged and framed. Why buy someone's that doesn't depict your dog when you can easily have an original far cheaper. I do yearly calendars of mine and send a dozen a year to friends and breeders.
So your saying there are people out there enjoy art of your dog's and not theirs. Hmm, weird.
I can paint at home as well, but it isnt a Picasso.
Every bit of misplaced ire towards others on this forum has always seemed to stem from the same place. If someone’s enjoyment somehow diminishes your own, one may do well to ask themselves, why? I don’t count myself as an exception.
It’s remarkable that some of the most poignant words on self-worth, have been attributed to Hemingway, a man so empty in this capacity it resulted in his bitter end. Human nature maybe, none the less, it does add to the gravitas of a good reminder.
“Before you act, listen. Before you react, think. Before you spend, earn. Before you criticize, wait. Before you pray, forgive. Before you quit, try.”
