Saddle??

I wanted to know if anyone rides a saddle like this and what your opinions are of this style saddle.



I have ridden the traditional western roping saddle my whole life and just recently started riding a trooper style in trials. I like the comfort of the trooper and the lack of horn, as well as the weight however I am a bigger guy (some say fat) and am looking for a little more support while keeping the comfort and weight for long days.

Any opinion?

Great saddle, comfy outta the box. Had western fenders added to mine with 3" stirrup leathers fixed in half twist to keep my stirrups straight - similar to what you've got pictured. Luv it.

I know at least one well known pro that is using an endurance saddle for the all day comfort. At a trial, he is in just about every open brace, so that makes for some loooong days in the saddle. He is fairly tall and in the 200# range as far as weight is concerned.

He traded in his trooper for the endurance saddle. Dunno which one, I think it was a Tucker, but whatever one fits both you and the horse would be the right choice.
