Fianlly got the pup on some birds

Finally had a chance to get my 8mos old pup Katie on some pigeons. Been yard breaking for the last couple weeks so I am sure this was a nice change of pace for her. She had never seen or smelled a planted bird before so I check corded her into the first one and she bumped it. She gave chase and was hooked from there on. I planted a second one for her and this is what happened. As soon as she hit the scent cone, she locked up and stood for a couple minutes without taking any steps. All without any whoa'ing or re-enforcing with the check cord. Being out of 6x NSTRA CH Rawhide Blazin Thunder and my grand daughter of Slick, she is everything I hoped for when I put this breeding together.
