Post by Mr. Crappie » Sun Jan 13, 2013 9:08 pm

My good friend is considering the purchase of the new Sportdog Uplandhunter 1875 electric training collar. Any of you guys used one or know anything about them ? Your comments are appreciated. Thanks

I have the 1825 and it works great, holds a good charge and the range seems to be spot on. Wish the 1875 would of came out a month earlier or I would of got it. Like the orange better than the black.

I just bought an 1875. Very nice. The vibrate and tone functions are not to be overlooked. They break the dog's concentration if he''s wrong, he looks at you and responds (hopefully). Better than a shock, though obviously that has appropriate uses too. Good customer service if you need explanations, too.
