It's definitely retrieving to the max - also seems like a good way to drown your dogs.

Just wanted to point out what had been mentioned about the dogs, this is what these particular dogs were trained on, they are switched out continually, if the dogs struggle in less conditions they do use them.

I enjoy watching the work, but probably wouldn't but my dog in a situation where returning to land was difficult / dangerous.

Ps- they look like lazy duck hunter shooting fly bys.

Good video,i use my DD for ret,, Eiders and old squaw Ducks in the winter time like this,,i"m just waiting for the right winds to bring the pack ice from Labrador to NL, to push the birds a head of it :D
