Karen,

By all accounts, the FDSB National Championship is held on shooting dog grounds....Ames. Yet there it is, year after year.

Was the original question in regards to entering Shooting Dog stakes?
Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.

That would be neat...

Is that a motion? If so, I'll second it.

Call the question.

If we could just get them all to point that steady. Just curious if you trained that yourself and when can I send my pointer to ya.

Trained it like big momma sugar and shocked it to stop and when it wouldn't turn without proper yard work... :D

Funny ultra. Funny thing is that dog came to me that way.

Second funny thing is you would NEVER say anything like that to me if we were standing face to face.

Ultra how did you go about getting your dog in your avatar to point so low in the front?

Ultra, to get a better profile pic you need to borrow the checkcord in Andy's. :D

Lol you guys crack me up.

Sugar Im not the most liked person but at least my dog does.

After u used the check cord to stop your siccle tail ... How did you replace intensity on his face with a look of being defeated. Poor dog. You should try clicker training, might suit you better.

Genetics. I've got an RRB bred dog that goes down on his flippin' elbows. Of two brothers, he was the better dog, but it wasn't worth the fight to stand him up.

Here is the higher head and tail... Hope you enjoy sugar. No check cord either. God forbid I put an avatar pic of when she was 6-10 months old. Ohhhh sorry her heads higher than your without the artificial head crank and check cord...

I don't care who you are or what dog you like. That is a great picture. You definitely have a good one.

Location, I can get that. Cost, not really, as they are pretty much the same cost wise.

I'm just trying to understand why that these dogs that do so well aren't being run against the pointers/setters...

Again, not trying to start a fight, but just curious why more folks aren't running the AF stuff.

Felicia, that makes sense too. May have more to do with what's close or WHO'S close, I suppose.
I know the late John Merrel ran some in the AF out west.I think he did OK
