red setter/irish setter near pa
Hey everybody.
My father in law is looking for a red setter/ hunting irish setter. He's pretty much set on this breed so I told him I'd post on here and try to help him find some breeders in the area. If you know of any good breeders in the pa/ohio area that have litters coming anytime soon (or this year) please send me a pm with their info. Thanks in advance.

Al Fazenbaker, Roger Boser, Celtic Kennels are all in the area.
Good luck in your search.

I know a guy that has a sweet little red setter that is about a year or so and has been trained by a well respected pro. Its a nice dog and I considered her myself but I already have two brittanys at this trainer. If your interested I can get the owners info for you.

You might want to talk to Kiki's Mom on the forum.

She co-owns a Red and White Irish setter.

I think she has a Red & White Setter. That is a different breed though it is the parent dog of the Irish Setter I believe. And technically the Red Setter and the Irish Setter are different breeds also with the Red Setter being the dogs that were crossed with an English Setter to get the hunt back in them and then registered with the FDSB. All of them can be very nice dogs.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!
Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

+1 on Fazenbaker and Boser. My training partner's Ryland is out of Fazenbaker's kennel. He's a seriously nice dog. NAVHDA UT1.

If this isn't the same dog then I know of one in PA that I think is looking for an owner, shes a real pretty dog!
