buying guns online?

Post by rkelly » Fri Mar 06, 2009 5:33 pm

Just wonder if there are any good sites to buy shotguns online? Looking to get a new one and was just wondering if there are any deals out there?

Gunbroker.com, and check out Bud's Gun Shop online, sometimes they're competitive with random stuff, other times they're more expensive.

I got my shotgun off of Gunbroker and got a pretty good deal on it.

I would suggest only bidding on auctions from sellers with FFL licenses. At least in Florida, I had a really hard time finding a dealer willing to do a transfer with a private seller that didn't have an FFL. It's not illegal to do so, it's just that nobody wanted to do it.
