My feeling is that you are at the Nat Ch and in my opinion if they name Jetsetter as the outright winner...it will not be a pity win...for any dog that fact

I agree, but there will be LOTS of people who won't, not when you've got a bunch of other Pointers that supposedly finished with at least good races and with more finds. I respect the judges decisions, but I gurantee it will cause controversy. A callback seems like a better choice UNLESS Jet's performance was just so spectatular it clearly trumps the other dogs with more finds, but as good Jets run was, it doesn't sound like that was the case.

We will see shortly!

Rumor mill has it,,, Snowwatch and Jetsetter. I think one more find from Jetsetter and he could have slammed the door I heard his race was better (less scouting) and his finish was real strong.

Thought for sure there'd be a callback, especially after some close and good performances. But reading about it is not like being there actually seeing the action I guess.Congrats to Snow,he made The Man

Congratulations to Snowatch and his handler and owner. Pretty cool that he was handled by an amateur. But I must admit I am a little disappointed there wasn't a callback with Jetsetter. I would have loved to see a setter take the Championship. Oh well the new setter puppy I'm picking up tomorrow will help me get over it. :D

I am pleased to see a KY dog win, but I gotta admit I would like to have seen Jetsetter and others in a callback, but the judges made that call and that is how it works so, congrats.

I've checked the Ames website and they have yet to post the winner. Hope they have something for sure soon.

He's been on a roll. Congrats to him and Gary Lester! I love that second shot of Snowatch. That's great. Right into the eyes.
