Interesting Day

Post by Sharon » Thu Apr 20, 2023 1:01 pm

Looked out my front window yesterday and see the SWAT tank in my neighbor's laneway , along with 5 police cars.
Looked in my back yard , and see two Officers with guns drawn.
Maybe I won't let the dog out.

An arrest was made . The Officers must have jumped over my back fence , as my ready-to-bloom bush was broken down.

Interesting day.

PS Don't want to talk about the neighbors

Similar happened when I was a kid, we had SWAT in our backyard because of a hostage situation in the house behind us (East End Hamilton, so not surprise given the neighbourhood). We were all pressed up against my brothers bedroom window so hard that we cracked the glass pane, and the officer looked up at us and shooed us away. Good childhood memory!
