That's very nice of you.
I never had any kids as I had two brothers die before 20 from Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. In those days they couldn't tell a woman if she was a carrier of that gene or not , and we chose not to put a child through that slow death.
We did have 4 foster children (teens) though , and cherish those years. Thank you for your post.

Sharon, I just came across this subject. I hope you have family to enjoy in your declining years. I have my son, daughter and grand, great grands near my wife and i. I have one nephew that is like a son. We hunt together many times a year. I love to be around family.
