Averageguy/Polmaise, would either of you be so kind as to share your recipes for feed bag under glass or feed bag al l'orange?
I've tried a couple of different ones and they all taste quite stringy.

Averageguy' I hope this is not seen as hi-jacking your thread ,but adding continuation of it 'we could all use a laugh' .
This video was a few years ago ,when an apprentice was filming me in training with a young dog at the stage of where it had been introduced to stop on a shot and stop on a simulated flush using a bumper ,but this day was to introduce a live planted pigeon with all this to help transition.
Now all the apprentice had to do was throw a bumper and press the button on the remote launcher !
Just goes to show , nothing goes to plan in dog training ,even when you have a plan
We still laugh about that day together

Wife, Spud and I spent a good bit of last summer training for some Retriever Hunt Tests. There were no good odds on where my Wife's throws were going to land. Some went behind her. Some landed on the roof of the house. To say "She threw like a Girl" would be an insult to women world wide.

Things got a little tense at times.

I finally saved our Marriage when I bought a couple of remote control wingers.

The 'Good lady' in our residence has been in self isolation from assisting in throwing marks since 2001 ,not because she can't throw , more a mutual understanding of where they should eventually land

Sounds like "The Good Lady" also has a good eye!
