I watched a Boykin finish it's Senior Hunter at a retreiver test this spring. I would have no problem hunting with one.

I met one for the first time last week. She was a neat little dog. Probably would be great to have for dove season. I'd buy one if I didint have too many dogs already.

Saw my first one in 1970, but it was not until 1998 that I found room in the kennel for one, I soon added more and more. They are part clown and all predator, making an entertaining and very effective hunting dog.

Mt first one that started my obsession with the breed was laid to rest yesterday, I have owned and trained well over a hundred hunting dogs, including many trial winners, and he was the best pure hunting dog I have ever seen in the field. Find a turtle? He could have found a needle in a haystack.

I would love to have a Boykin but they are just not here to be had. They sound like my kind of dog.
