CSF Economic Impact Report

The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation has just released a detailed comparisons report. Since 2006, the hunting and angling consumer spending increased by 14 billion dollars. Also worth noting is the differences in what the 2006 and 2013 reports use to highlight consumer spending:

2006 report:
5.3 billion total revenue
Guns & rifles: $2.4 billion
Binoculars, field glasses, telescopes: $203 million
Hunting apparel: $459 million
Ammunition: $696 million
Decoys & game calls: $187 million

2013 report:
5.25 billion total revenue
Muzzleloaders: $122 million
Shotguns: $915 million
Rifles: $1.4 billion
Handguns: $585 million
Ammunition: $1.3 billion
Archery Equipment: $935 million
