As the question in the title, does anyone here own a amphibious 6x6 or 8x8? For as long as I can remember I have always wanted one of these things, and as I have been saving for a UTV im kinda tempted to get one of these. If anyone has one or played with one of these give me some feedback about them, and speed isnt really a factor for me. Thanks a ton!

you are about 3wks late, i just sold one to a kid that works for my farmer...... It was alot of fun, but it really payed for itself 10 fold when we would hunt flooded corn fields a mile off the road.

A limit on the strap is nice, but the kill has nothing to do with tradition.

I am no shopping for one just yet, I just want to get some feedback on them to make sure that I make the correct choice.

Ours was an older one, we bought at an auction, and it was great for field hunting and marshes and stuff but it was hard for me to drive (2 joysticks like a dozer) and was Slow, but it allowed us to duck hunt in places we couldn't/wouldn't get to before.
We never used it for anything but waterfowl hunting so i never got a great feel for it as far as being a toy.
Unless you have a need for something that will float, a UTV is the way to go.
