Sorry for all the questions. Should have read a book. Bought some bobs at 30 days old. They are up on 1/2 inch sq wire. At what age do I start feeding grit / sand? All birds love fresh grass cuttings. OK to give that to them? I am feeding 22% protein turkey starter for feed. Am I ok with that too. Person I bought them from is a newbe also. He had layers , incubator and brooder with no room for more expansion.

go ahead and put grit in with them they will eat and use as they need it

They are in a sand floor flight pen and doing great at 6 weeks.
