OK, try this:
2 cups ketchup, 1 cup molasses, 1/2 cup vinegar
1 tsp chili powder, paprika, garlic powder
1/2 tsp allspice, cinnamon, mace and black pepper
Combine and gently heat till everything dissolves and mixes together.
Add 1/2 cup of honey to 2 cups of the sauce if you want to make a sweet glaze for ribs or whatever.
And don't tell anyone from my home town that I told you...I might get disfellowshipped.

Re: Secret KC Sauce
You guys just want all the secrets.
Try different kinds. I use white wine vinegar in mine. I also like to vary the kind of molasses.
