Hello, My name is Jeremy and I'm addicted to weims

Post by ohiohuntinweim » Thu Dec 13, 2007 8:10 pm

Just wanted to introduce myself and my dog. I have a 2 and a half yr old female weim which is my first gun/birddog. We have struggled together and are finally getting thru all that and finding birds.

Here are a couple of pics of my "family";

Jeremy, It's nice to see some pictures of a nice Weim not bred just for the show ring. Where'd you get her?

SH, What about for the addiction to Shorthairs? Does that program include Weims? :D

You may not believe it

But she is a pet store dog. We have had a long tough row to hoe.

I thought I had lost her reg. paperwork, so I don't even know her background. (Am sending out her reg. soon so I will get to see her pedigree)This season has been our first real consistent bird contact. I am going to start running her in the UFTA amatuer division just to keep up on contact as the seasons close around here.

By the way nice to see so many other weim owners...that admit they have a weim!!!!

That's all I'll ever have! There's something about these grey dogs that you can't have just one.

Hey, a fellow Buckeye here! It seems there are a lot more of us showing up on this board. I had 2 weims growing up - one was the best dog I've ever been around. The other...well, not so much. But we loved him anyway.

I am lined up to get a Vizsla pup in the spring. Kids and career are finally stable enough (I hope).

What part of Cbus you from? I grew up in Fairfield county, but now I'm in the Powell/Dublin area.

Jeremy, careful how many boards you sign up for. You'll end up with carpal tunnel!

Rob, mom still lives in Fairfield County, Fisher class of 83. May know some like folks.
