New Member from Rhode Island

Hello all,

New to Rhode Island and new to this forum. Moved from north west Georgia where I hunted deer and turkey on occasion. While I have three dogs (a golden retriever, a Siberian husky and an English Foxhoud - none are purebred) I don't hunt with the dogs. All were rescue dogs and have all turned out to be great pets who love our wilderness walks. We use the Garmin Alpha to keep track of the dogs when out for leash free walks in the woods. While I have owned at least one dog for the last 16 years, there's always more to learn. I primarily joined this forum to learn more about dogs, hunting in general and potentially hunting with a dog in the future.
