Hi All,

My name is Anthony and I am a total green horn to training. I have been hunting for a few years and finally made the plunge to get my hunting buddy last year. He's now a 1 year old Vizsla (show line with some hunting traits) who does not have much of a prey drive. (per the trainer I sent him to) I beg to differ, I see some his interest and desire when he is in the yard and on walks. I'm in the process of learning how to train the dog myself, joining a local chapter of NAVHDA and reading lots of literature from Delmar Smith. Any tips, suggestions, recommendations or any helpful information is greatly appreciated.

My backup plan: I have a 4 month old English pointer, she is from a champion hunting line.
