New guy from west Texas

To start off my name is Charles Sherrill, I'm 20 years old and I'm a duck hunter. I started duck hunting about 5 years ago and instantly fell in love with the action and the way the dogs just love doing their job. About a year ago I got my first lab retriever and was training her on my own. I have no training experience, just went by forums and books. At 6 months she was coming along very well and loved retrieving, unfortunately she broke her leg and died during the operation. So now I have a 9 month old yellow lab. He also loves retrieving and is coming along very well other than a few things. I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone on this forum and I am thankful to be a part of it!

I'm in Abilene. Not too far west but still considered west
