I'm new to bird dogs and bird hunting in general. I have a 16 week old Brittany that I've been working with since I got him at 8 weeks. I have pigeons and plenty of ground to work with him. He is smart, and I'm just wanting to make sure I'm not doing something that might set formal training back. I've been working with a trainer that lives near me and getting some good advice and plan on sending him to the trainer later this year.
