Just replied to the other post. Made the move out here a few years ago myself from Vermont. It took a season to really get adjusted, really looking forward to this year.

When are coming out?

Utah bird hunting centers arourn chuckar. Pheasant populations in Utah aren't as great as they are back east. Quail is good, partridge also.
I enjoy it.

We have blues and ruffs in healthy populations. Sharptail and sage grouse you have to apply in June for a two bird permit, but they aren't hard to get depending where you apply. I will usually run to WY for a sage grouse hunt.

Sage grouse and that is about it. There are some places for other birds, but from Utah sage grouse are about the only thing worth making the drive for.
