Hi all! I am a new member from Idaho. I have a 9 year old Brittany and will be receiving a GSP pup in spring/summer 2011. I have done basic training with my Brit with heavy reliance on her natural hunting insticts. I believe that I could have better cultivated her abilities by running through the NAVHDA and hunt test programs. So, I plan on running my new pup in NAVHDA and hunt tests to maximize her (and my training) abilities. I look forward to reading and mining the various posts, while asking questions of you all.

Welcome to Gun Dog Forum. You should be able to get a lot of useful information off this site. (The britt in my Avatar was an Idaho pup that I bought from Bob Lanham.). good luck with your future shorthair.

Where ya getting your gsp pup from? I've got one coming out of Idaho Hunting Dogs.
The best place to hunt is where the birds are. Next best is where they ain't. Anywhere else works too.
