First dog, first gun dog, hoping to learn

Hello everyone,

I am Ally and I got my first dog and first gun dog this past spring. Gambit is a Brittany Spaniel who is 10 months old. I have done basic obedience training with Gambit. I am looking for an outlet for the both of us to enjoy. I was looking into Agility and Fly-ball but Gambit is proving to be particularly birdy so I am now looking into hunting and flushing. I will be poking around on the forums to get my bearings and familiarize myself with the wealth of wisdom you all are kind enough to share here.

Welcome. There are a lot of people on this forum that can help you. There are all kinds of dog and bird games to play with your pup---hunt tests, shoot to retreive, Navda, field trials, + huntin'. If you would put your location below your pup picture so everyone knows your general area, you can probably find someone fairly close to you that can help you train your pup.
