My name is Jeff, aka. Shagrunner. I live in Provo, Utah. I have 3 English setters, one male (3 yrs. - avatar) and 2 females, (9 mos and 8 mos respectively).
We hunt dove, all the grouse found here in the West, pheasant and chuckar. We'll be going out this Saturday and next Thursday for chuckar as the 31st is the last day of the season here in Utah.
Then we'll turn all our attention to getting the dogs ready for the field trial season. We run in AF and AKC events. We tried NSTRA but the dogs woudn't stay in a 40 ac. field. :roll:
Besides dogs, hunting and trialing I love to play golf and I snow ski whenever there is fresh powder in our mountains. (Greatest Snow on Earth)
I've been married to the same woman for 30 years. She's an academic, (English professor) at a local university, so we have nothing in common.
We have 4 kids, all grown and 5 grand-ones which are the loves of my life. I can't wait until they can all go hunting with me.
