New GSP with pics

Hi all. My name is Ryan and I'm from San Marcos, Texas.

I recently picked up my first GSP (and first dog); Pia. She's about 8 weeks old and seems to be a very quick learner.

Looking forward to what's to come and picking up a few tips along the way from the forum.

Thank you both. I also downloaded a pedigree. Not really sure how to read it...? Is there a way to find out the backgrounds of the dogs? Do I just have to search them online?

The dogs in red have AKC titles.
(After the names) MH - master hunter, SH - senior hunter, JH - junior hunter, CD - companion dog, MX - master agility excellent, UDX - utility dog excellent, VCD3 - versatile companion dog 3

(before the names) DC - field & show champion, FC - field champion, AFC - amateur field champion, Ch - show champion

I got my first birddog (GSP Also) in 1997 and it seems like yesterday . It goes quick . Lot's of luck to you & enjoy . It can become an addiction !
