The last one I did I used 4" blox 2 courses pinned to the slab with 1/2" rebar core filled and top with a 4" solid block. It is by far the best we have had.

16" block wall definitely is a plus. 4 or6" blocks should be adequate. It makes them a little harder to clean. But worth it especially on the inside.....Cj

I have wonder about that also. The one I have always used only has 6 levels, for me that is is plenty. I do find the lowest level is a bit low for anything but intro. I have never used the highest one. It would seem pretty complicated to go thru 10 0r 20 levels......Cj

I use a garmin Astro 430 and Garmin tritronics field 70. I don't need a tracking device for most training and on my older dogs I don't need a training collar. I could run ten dogs on my field 70 if I wantedto.it would get a bit confusing and tough on the dogs but it can be done.........Cj
