If, god forbid, anything were to happen to my buddy my plan is to put it on the credit card/cards. I figure if I pay as much as I can, even if I have to pay some interest, I "should" still end up ahead rather than paying every month.

Keeping birds in yard with dog?

 I've seen many people on here keeping birds in the yard, where they also let the dog go. Living in an area with a large amount of ticks, and family members who suffer from Lymes I'm looking for the best methods for checking the pups for ticks. They have frontline every month. I'm just wondering if there is something better to do aside from just giving them a look over when were done.

1993 Chevy Blazer Full Size K5. ~12 MPG, 163000 miles on it. Cosmetically its pretty good. Transmission leaks a bit, antifreeze leaks a little, oil goes missing, the front end is kinda loose, and its gonna need tires. Would like to get a 2500hd Duramax, but not with the economy the way it is.
