Also most bird hunters need to learn how to lead properly 98% of my kills are head shots Not trying to brag but i do practice and make an efforrt to shoot all my birds in the head quick kill and no chance or ruining the meat. a lot of hunters put there gun away after the season and never pick it up...

Like the pic of the PLOTS sign. While many plots lands are indeed good, others are not so good. Cover has been cut down etc.. We have a special name for those. Pretty Lousy Outdoor Time Spent.

One crop you see planted in the SD Pheasant belt more so than many other Midwestern states is Cane Sorghum. Cane Sorghum not only provides food, but also one of the best crops for winter cover you're likely to find for pheasants. The birds can eat and and get out of the harsh weather.

He swims in the swimming pool daily now i use it after every swim and it is keeping it in check although if i didnt i think they would get gunked up again. Really depends on where their located. Typically the SW and West Central areas of the state have been the best Pheasant producers. Locate good public lands in those areas and that will be your best bet.
