I use whatever... During the flea season though, I seldom use shampoo but stick to warm water. Shampoo shortens the duration of several topical flea/tic treatments, including the Advantix I use. K9 Advantix (fleas, ticks & mosquitoes) we get from whichever online source is cheapest. Heartguard we're still buying from the vet because once you add in the shipping & tax for most onine sites, his price is competitive.

Bud Calderwood is the only guy I know of that I would trust to snakeproof my dogs, and he is outstanding. If you can track down his #, you could probably set something up with him fairly easily. We feed our pups Acana Prairie Harvest grainless and have had a great deal of success. They like it and they don't need a great deal of it to maintain weight. My approach has always been if a dog needs to gain weight I feed a little more or add a little bit of oil or fat. I have never switched feed.
