Most of the good adult formulas are great for pups. As long as the kibble is small and easy to chew. Most good adult formulas are essentially all-age even if not designated as such. I fed Loyall Active Adult to my pup, and still feed it. I also pay around $28 for 40#, and it's superior to most feeds...

I had the same thing happen to me several years ago, and I reached down and snapped it into place. I was fine in a couple of weeks.
If this old dog(me) can heal, I'm sure yours will be ok also. I realize there is a difference in the types of dogs.

Sounds similar to what I suggested. Infection can affect the pyloric valve to spasm and not function. It's great he's ok.

Most dogs WILL do well on Ol'Roy or Ol'Roy Premium, but there will be more piles, and they will eat more. So, it's not cost effective, and they make more messes. Some people don't realize the difference, but I do as I came to that realization many years ago when I used to feed it.

Hunter's Choice, Diamond Premium, and others. Ol'Roy is bad. Buy from an independantly owned feedstore if possible, or a chain feedstore that runs specials. When you figure it out, WalMart is more expensive.
