Great dog there. I use live quail to train my dogs, the bird will only fly a short distance then the dog will retrieve it to my hand. Been using the same 6 for several weeks now their mouths are that "soft".

When you have chosen a breeder get them a deposit on a "planned" breeding so you have first pick ASAP. Having first pick will allow you the flexability to get the one you want I always take the advise of a great trainer, he recommends taking the last dog of a litter. :) has worked very well for me....

Talk to them about it too. Alot of people will change their ways if you talk to them like adults.

I had a GSP that would catch rabbits and kill them, I discourage people I hunt with against ground shooting only cause a dog may get hit. I encourage my dogs to remove every varmint they can get their teeth on

Skip that last post, i re read the page and found them to be reg'd as AKC and NAVHDA the sire is a DK tested in Germany the bitch is out of hillhavens hustler.

Genetic drag also applies to retrieving, obedience, and cooperation.

If you are strictly looking for a "burd dawg" then go with trial stock. If you want something that will handle more than just search and point you should expand your criteria.
