Re: Keep the 20ga. or upgrade to a 16ga.?
Ther is only one advantage to being a 16 ga enthusiast....good guns are cheap. I have found more nice 16 ga S x S's over the years in out of the way gun shops for very little money....not many folks want them. No kidding, I saw an Ithaca 37 in 16 gauge from the late 1940's about a year ago for $250...

Re: Canidae To Make its own Products
I am glad to hear that. You know how much I love Canidae. Where did you get your info? When will they start manufacturing their own? The company did a press release. It looks like it bought the shuttered Pied Piper facility and modernized it. It was a much better food when Pied Piper made it. http:...

Re: Diamond Pet Foods Recall
The FDA did not have any authority to start a mandatory recall until the Food Safety Modernization Act was signed in 2011. As of now, implemetation was put off until 2013. From FDA: "However, in the food arena, with the exception of infant formula, FDA does not have the authority to order a recall o...

Re: Diamond Pet Foods Recall
One thing to keep in mind is that, technically, all recalls are voluntary. The FDA cannot issue a mandatory recall. So when a company brags about a recall being "voluntary" take it with a grain of salt. All companies play that fiddle like they beat the FDA to the punch. Usually, they are pushed into...

Yeah, striped bass, fluke and maybe a trip to the Canyon for tuna and swords. I almost always pass on blue fish.
Also lots of crabbing and one or two outings for clams
I can be striper fishing in 15 minutes

Try Annamaet Impact or chunks of coconut fat. Coconut fat is often used by weight lifters for that extra push. The fats in coconuts are metabolized differently and much faster than animal fats or other vegetable oils.

never ceases to amaze me how we over think feeding dogs.......in this age where we overthink almost everything. Marketing pure and simple. You could feed your dog only varmint carcasses and they would do fine and they do equally fine on high quality feeds containing corn, wheat, barley, rice..........
