Nice lookin' doggy. My Britt is 22 months right now and likewise a great dog in the house. We have gotten to where we leave here alone in the house, even if we are gone several hours, whereas until a few months ago we crated her. So far no accidents or destruction and the cat is still alive.

Good hunting preserves ARE awesome. Bad ones are... bad. I have been to some where you don't really feel like you are preserve hunting. I have been to others where you see the guy carting out birds right before you go out, and he puts them in the same places every time... a "canned" hunt.

My wife took it to a typical medical diagnostic lab that a physician would use. Since my daughter was involved, she had gone to the pediatrician first, so she had a "prescription" from the doctor. I would assume someone can just bring one in directly, however.

My wife just pulled a small tick off my daughter's torso a couple of days ago and the tick tested positive for Lyme. It couldn't have been there long but there was a red mark. My Brittany is a fun, active dog. She is great in the house and with the kids, and also does plenty of laying around and cuddling. Hyper is not a term I would use to describe her.
