If not, don`t bother with it. Also an article I wrote about training from the rear of the dog, as in Whoa training to check...

Planned Snake-break Seminar

We Found Snakes! Are currently planning a seminar. We will get back with the particulars within a couple of days. I know it will be around the Atl. area. We can accept so many dogs, so we will take a 10.00 deposit per dog to hold a spot. Total price is 50.00 a dog, anything over 2 dogs is half price.

I have a good bit of frozen on my dog Snips Ticked Off, but as log as he`s able I am not fooling with it. Natural is better and not a hassle. If the vet on the bitch end is not super, then it`s hard to catch, then you have to worry about repeats.

Grant, the best thing for dog and new handler is to find a good conformation class. It is GREAT socialization for pup even if you never show. You may have gotten by with it, luckily. I don`t think it`s a good idea to encourage it as the proper way of introducing a pup to gunfire. I see alot of young dogs that are introduced to gunfire, some can handle it and some don`t. I am just encouraging the side of caution. Better safe than sorry!

Your playing with fire here. It MIGHT work, but what if it ruins your pup forever? It is not worth taking a Chance, IMO. The best way is get your pup bird-cRazy first, then shoot a blank while he`s in chase.
