I have a version of the "stap vest." It is the most flexible for me since I can wear it over tons of clothes if the snow is blowing, or over a t-shirt while training or during the early season.

I agree that you need to get a pup on birds as soon as possible, but I don't think this hunting trip would be the right introduction. In my opinion, there will be too many people and too many guns for it to be a positive experience for the dog.

What is your opinion on breeders "strongly suggesting" that their kennel name being included in the registered name of your puppy? When I buy a puppy it becomes part of MY kennel and I want it to bear my name. Am I off base here?
