Just a note to self that folks on the board could learn from...make sure your pigeon coop is secured good enough so that you can control when your pigeons get out to roam/fly. Nashville, TN

I am heading down to a quail hunt in Georgia mid February and to keep the colonel happy, we are planning to spend two days in Nashville on the way back.

Anybody have any recommendations for "must do" things while in Nashville?

We will be there - Thursday morning through Saturday morning.

From my experiences... the people that want a female generally believe that they would be better with children, more attentive to the owner, quicker at producing birds for the gun, and not as prone to roaming. Very few buy female puppies with breeding in mind. I believe it's not the gender of the d...

I pretty much hunt grouse 90% of the time 100% of the season up here and have found that any moisture, save a downpour, brings good scenting conditions. What type of dog do you need it for? By your handle I assume you have a Lab which leads me to believe you may not need anything more than 1/2 mile range. There should be plenty of posts about finding a dog to fit your needs. I would recommend that you contact a few breeders of different dogs and hunt over them or go out with someone who would let you hunt with them over their dogs to narrow your search a bit.
