I never understood why breeders make you pick that early. I would never do it. In my opion buys should pick the day of pick up and they should come in that order. Gender is the only thing i would ask for early on. My 2 cents

Looking good my man! You no i'm a big fan of getting them started young. Training or should i say exsposing puppies is what enjoy the most in gundog training.. Its the best!

Re: How do I stud my dog out?
I like titles sum i respect more than others even then as i say you need to see the dog inside the titles. With the breeding core of guys i run with and they are big on titled dogs too. They judge the dogs on day 5 in kansas or ND when they are brush beated cut up from barbwire and stff as heck who ...

Re: How do I stud my dog out?
Jimbo is spot on
As for titles its just part of the promotion part you get the dog out and it gets seen. Its more to being a desirable stud than that but its a big part. As i said Jimbo gave sum sound advice.

You did the right thing.
With really hard headed dogs trying to set dominace you sometimes have to piss on them while you have them on there back to put them in there place. I dont think ur guy needs that yet.

Well breed dogs will point right out of the gate i dont mean stand it forever but a noticeable point. From the lines im use to being around puppies are pointing birds in a trap as early as 6wks.

I second joining a NAVHDA chapter! you can go and watch dogs before you decide to buy.
