Re: NFC Rawhide's Clown son
Power of the pedigree. If its from a consistence line bred breeding you should no what you have with a 10 month old pup. Having said this im speaking from line breeding and no nothing about this clown dog. And at 10 months old i think you no if hes a keeper or not.

For FTs what you have is good enough probaly he just has to retrieve it same in AKC HT test. I would heel him around after the retreive letting him hold it while giving him praise then take it. If you want a good clean retreive and presenation FF the dog. I FF all of mine even tho they retrieve ever...

Agreeded. My first litter costed me $7,800 in vet fees not counting the puppie formula $$ plus feeding 10 puppies by hand every 2hrs around the clock for 3wks. Thank god i had the time to be there. We didnt loose 1 single pup!! Its great when things go right but when it goes bad its bad.

Good advice so far. If performance is important to you than spaying will defenitly will slower her down. You will still have a good hunting dog just not the motor you had before. Its harder to keep weight off and they loose muscle defenition.

NA is not in anyway holding you back from the next level inless you have a dog that needs to be trained just to pass NA. Even then you cant hide the nose piece. The track in NA is harder than than the track in UT. NA an JR are 2 complete different animals. Is it perect probaly not but its pretty goo...

The end goal is UT to VC i dont want waste time on NA. I think the true evalutation for NA dog is best at a younger age. Give them...

I think the ads them selfs separate the good from the bad. Its alot esperence people on bored here that no pedigrees and test venees. Its not luck that some litters sell faster than others. It is alot of coat tall riders tho that try to be breeders.
