Re: Loyall Active Adult Formula or Kirkland Chicken & Rice
I have fed Kirkland in the past and had solid results with it. That was probably 6-7 years ago, so im sure the formula has changed since then. After leaving Kirkland I got on the Purina Pro Plan Performance bandwagon. Dogs looked great, performed well, and held up well. The problem was that between ...

Adding an extra horseback trial up this way is prohibitive because our lack of suitable horseback grounds. Both spring and fall seasons are already filled with other local clubs using available grounds.

Re: tennis balls cause bad moth habits?
Depends on the dog. I have had dogs that played with tennis balls their whole lives without ever having it effect the retrieve. That being said I did have one dog that we took the tennis balls away because it caused him to hard mouth his retrieves. Once we replaced the tennis balls with a firmer bal...

If so then why didn't the show crowd ruin the English Pointer? Have you seen the difference of a AKC Pointer and an FDSB Pointer? For the most part, again there are exceptions, the AKC pointer is a big bumbly plodder of a dog where the real pointer is a completely different animal that can do what ...

Ken I never said black GSPs are all "great" hunting dogs nor are they superior to all other black GSPs in the world. a counter-argument to that is owners of black GSPs should be concerned with conformation just as much as owners of liver GSPs Steven, They are concerned about conformation, the kind that counts. Ideally one in the middle, smart enough to learn and retain training, but not smart enough to think they know more than me. Agree with Howie on this one. Lay a heck of a dominance beating on the dog when this happens. Years ago I had a 2 yr GWP that was awoken by a toddler crawling on her and took a snap. That dog took a severe beat down from me and we never never had any problem again. Over the years she'd be disturbed ...
