About every 6 months or so we use Triple Wormer by Durvet. It covers tapeworms, roundworms & hookworms.

They also get Tri-Heart (generic version of Heartguard) monthly because this is FL.

Since you have a GWP, I recommend someone who has experience with, and likes the breed. They are not GSP's with hair and they have different attitudes. OMG, just get some triple wormer and do them all. It won't hurt to double up on the pyrantel for a month. Active ingredient you are looking for is praziquantal (sp). You can also use Tapeworm Tabs, but a big dog needs 170 mg, so it's pricey. We have used Triple Wormer in the past & it works great. ...

Used to feed it about 4 years back, but my dog couldn't keep weight on with it or muscle mass no matter how much I was feeding him.

Switched to another food & have been happy with that one ever since.
