Wildrose, Hey I don't know, all I know is that the dog will hunt now with gun shots were as over the past three years scared shitless. I can hardly believe that all of a sudden she seen the light! My vet believes it might have to do with a chemical inbalance that the small amount of gun powder provi...

Re: Gunshyness! I am at a loss!
You are going to think I am crazy but what I am about to tell you I couldn't even believe with my own eyes. About three years ago my brother in law got a Vizzla from his dad, in which he got it from a guy at work. It was one year old and was gun shy. My brother in law took it out hunting with us and...

For over two months I have been debating on what collar to purschase and I finally decided to go with the DT 1850 and it is everything I wanted in a collar. The main thing was I wanted to control the beeper from the transmitter and this unit lets me turn on and off, change from run/point to just poi...

Re: Advice On A Trailer
The whole box was covered and painted to keep it from routing out. I use 12 2 1/2" screws to hold the box down and even if screws did come loose I don't think it would slide off, however I do like the idea of bolting it down, it would be a faster way to take on/off rather than searching for the screw...

Re: Advice On A Trailer
I use a utility trailer and made a four hole dog box to set on it during the season. the trailor is steel frame wood floor. The dog box was made from plywood and I coated the enitre box with fiber glass resign then painted it. I screwed the box to the floor of the trailer so I wouldn't have to deal ...

I think I am leaning towards the DT 2430 Trainer/Beeper due to the fact you can control full functions of the beeper from the transmitter. I don't know if I will ever use that but I guess if I am going to buy a beeper collar just as well have that power. I think the fact that it has the rise/jump mi...

Thanks for your help. I found a place that sells Diamond and I was actually surprised by the cost, I paided $15.49 for a 50lb bag so needless to say I was very happy with that and the nice thing is it is just north of us in town so I don't have to go out of my way like I was doing for the Black Gold.
