How old? I agree probably a UTI... take her to the vet and get her checked out. Little girls have short urinary tracts and like bosco said are close to the ground. UTI's just come with the territory.

I like welded wire, but I have both... I used 1/2" wide black industrial zip ties to attach every chain link square to bottom bar instead of every three or four squares like they come from factory. 12 ga ammo is cheaper and more widely available in different loads. Plus you already load for 12s. You can even get/load 20 ga equivalent loads for your 12. 20 ga is pretty widely available, but is you want to chase geese, the 20 might not be enough... I have seen people have good results with commercial grade oak flooring using commercial finishes. The next time we redo the floor Im going to look at one of the Pergo type laminates. I have seen them hold up extremely well!

Only one suggestion.... quit expecting Co-op to know anything about pigeons. The only thing they do well is fertilizer.

Go to Farmers Supply (the Purina mill) up on Sawmill road and talk to Con. He knows more about feeding critters than my PhD feeds professor in college did.

Talk to Con @ the Purina mill. He knows more about feeds and feeding than anyone else I have ever met. He can help you with a diet that is appropriate and palatable for the birds... they guys at Co-Op just parrot back what the feed rep tells them.

I have one Brittany that knows when the collar is on and when it isnt. She has a real bad habit of saying "screw you" and doing what she pleases if the collar is turned off or not put on. She is pretty limited to this 10 acres, but 10 acres is a lot to go chasing her around... She knows her commands...

I just wormed the Brittanys for the first time with Safeguard Goat wormer. Thanks for the dosage recommendations Dog Dr!! Squirted it on their food and they snarfed it up like they always do. They will get it for the next two days as well.

FYI a 100ml bottle cost me 19.95 at the local feed store.

Check with the folks at Riverview vet (down by Serious Texas BBQ). Not sure if they do any boarding but there have a pretty good rep and can probably steer you right. I usually take my Britts with me, the rest of my critters the next door neighbor feeds for me.

try up north of Beaver Meadows for the grouse. Junction Creek and the Hermosa drainage can be decent as well. I have never seen a quail here and the pheasant population is pretty much non-existent. The turkeys have made a huge comeback and of course there is some pretty decent waterfowl hunting.

It sounds like the breeder didn't tell him. What does his contract say? The breeder didn't know and everthing will be made right. I'm just not understanding why or how it would be considered genetic and from who (bloodline, sire or dam). Both it is autosomal recessive. Yes that dog must be neutered...

There are benefits to fall/winter puppies and benefits to spring/summer puppies. You have to fit them into what works best for you... but don;''t count on pushing the puppy hard to hunt on their first season no matter when they were born. They all mature at their own rate and need time to be a puppy...

I love big, fat otter tails on Labradors, and little, short happy tails on my Brittanys! What is don;t like is long tails with short hair that look easily damaged.

After almost 30 years of labradors, I really like the Britts in the house and the new coffee table!

WC is a Working Certificate similar to a JH. There was also a WCX similar to the SH title. They were issued by the parent breed club and were common in Labs, Flat-Coats and other sporting breeds before the AKC instituted the JH. SH. MH programs.

I would have to say Perry;s Rustic Prince for the sire for sure. So many good females to go for the dam... Lobo's Cotton Candy would be certainly on the list, and Hope's Ruffled Feathers (along with Perry';s Rustic Prince) produced some of my favorite dogs.

I have also had a labrador retriever tear a dew claw almost all the way off. It was a total mess and cost a fortune to have it (and the other side) removed on an adult dog. I am a firm believer in removing them shortly after birth!

I have a very good friend that is a Black Angus cattle breeder. he uses nothing but sex sorted sperm to produce the most heifer calves he can. Registered Black Angus heifers are very desirable to other breeders (and for replacements in his own herd), boys are just steaks, roasts and hamburger!

Sounds to me like they might be infected. Normal glands don;t just leak for no reason, and they should not need to be expressed often if at all. See your vet and have her checked.
