I always check mine before putting them on. I use the Tritronix Upland. HOWEVER, testosterone is a dangerous thing! My younger brother has always been a little adventurous and was showing off for his kids. He said to put it on HIGH and I said you sure 1x, 2x, then 3x -- then I let him have it (on hi...

I have transported my Brittany on the back of my quad in airline crate. He seems to get sick from the occasions, throwing up and loose stools. Anybody else have this problem? Dust? CO poisoning? Over exertion? Motion sickness?

I have a soft beep on mine. With my old Britt, it works great. With my young Britt, it works ok if he is not enthralled in a chase for which it takes a 3 out of 5 ZAP -- HARD HEADED DOG!

THERE IS A DANGEROUS LINE HERE. Don't you think that PETA members think that our bird dogs running down a crippled bird is gruesome? What about hobbling a bird so it won't run during training? What about using live birds for training at all? I don't trap or chase game with dogs but I do support thos...

On mine, it is marked "T" for tone and it makes that "beep" sound. It is marked as the "Sport Combo G3". My older dog comes immediately with it. The young dog ignores it. I also have another set with the full size beeper -- both dogs hate the noise and the weight always resituates the collar. I use ...

Re: Beeper - TT G2 or G3?
I have both. The G2 is louder but much wider and I can't use it on my older Britt since it won't really fit. The G3 is smaller and I love the instant "where are you" beep. Both are heavy enough that they move the whole collar around on my dogs neck. I think I like the G3 better based on size. Both d...

Re: Hard knot in the middle of ear?? Very small in size.
My Britt has a genetic defect with a rather large knot of cartilage in the left ear flap. It tends to plug up the ear according to my vet and not allow as good of drying. Consequently, this poor dog has chronic ear infections if he goes swimming. During the time of year he is in nasty water (hunting...

They basically rule everything else out then decide to treat for epilepsy with the little pink pills (Phenobarbital). My third Britt was sold to me apparantly with the problem.
