Before we moved we had a kennel/run but sold it. Anyway here was what we had. we bought a 10x10x6 ft. kennel at home depot made of chainlink fence. For the florring we got 4 cement blocks and built a frame on them with 2x4s then we filled in the rectangular frame with 2x4 with about 1/2in slits in b...

My dad and grand father both had hunting goldens and were some of the best birddogs I ever saw. He mainly got them from different breeders and did not focus alot on pedagree and considered it a bonus. To tell if a pup was good he looked at the parents and there retrieving ability. Then did different...

To do it properly to where you can pull off a 100 yard bling with just the 3 basic signals, back and the overs it will take 8 months to 15 months depending on the dog. If you want that in wate...

And, also in my experience I have seen that dogs will shed the lining of their colon. You will see it in their stools looking like a pale membrane (like they ate a condom!) and this apparently is normal. I most often see the lining shed after a big serving of raw, meaty bones or a bunch of roughage...

remote wise
I have noticed that my lab has goten wise to the remote.
Example: I will start training and she will sit on a dime when I have my remote but if I just have the collar on her then she doesnt think she has to be as good.
I just finished collar conditioning her on OB what do I do to stop this?

hunting pointer and flusher
Would it be posible to hunt a pointer and a flusher at the same time?
I saw a guy doing it with grouse the other day on tv. If the flusher got to it then it flushed. and if the pointer got to it first they would call off the flusher. Have any of you guys done that.
