Fat puppies are not healthy Rather to thin then to fat as to much weight can seriously interfere with their growth and put to much stress on growing joints and growth plates. first would be the dam and the Sire of the litter do the BOTH have the desired traits that one would want in their pup. Papers are nice but they are only the frosting to the cake so to speak if the ingredients aren't right then no matter how pretty the frosting {pegigree} is only going to do so much...

Thay is what the scores in NSTRA are for of people would look at them they could see for themselves where they may need to Polish up thier dogs instead of whining about the score the judge gave them. Look at the over all scores maybe ask What the judge saw and why. Some times that can be tricky when...

It happens females dont take or the male for some reason doesn't want to release semen which believe that one or not a male can hold that part of the process back ( We sat on a reproduction seminar )
Or many reason it can happen

I would much rather have a dog a bit under weight and active then pudgy and excerting to much weight on growing joints which they are finding is making those dogs that are genetically predisposed to hip dysplasia worse then if they were kept lean

My next question didn't the breeder of your pup give you any advice on how to handle problems or issues or offer for you to call them for any advice? I go over a whole bunch of stuff with my new puppy buyers from whoa games at dinner to how to deal with the mouthy pups I am much better at talking ab...

I just sold a pup this summer to a guy who is a grouse hunter in Ohio. I was just sent a picture yesterday of his pup with her first grouse...ps I live in the Arizona.
My pups are on birds,from the time,they are 5 1/2 weeks old so I do what I can to imprint the pups with hunting for birds

The only time we will put a limited registration on a pup is if there is a problem which of you are a breeder out isn't a matter of if it just a matter of when Like an over bite or an under bite. Other then something like that if people are paying full price for a puppy they get full registration

I sure am glad there are different approaches to training II like the base of Rick Ronnie Smith method modified and modifying from what his Delmar did . West method also had its place in successful method. Those two seem to be a lot behind the dogs that are doing the best

You might try calling some of the local bird dog clubs or preserves and see who they are using for a vet ...Maybe someone might know a vet that is willing to help take care of your pup.

Actually Ezzy there is a difference ...I have had enough experienced people make plenty of remarks about the difference in pups that come in from my program versus others. It isn't magic but if you have a program of dogs that are both bird dogs at heart and one allows those pups to explore and learn...

I try to keep up with doing many approvals with my phone but I do have a family and Sundays we have Church then Family gathering.

As for how many posts there is only 4 posts that need to be approved and It helps more then you can imagine
