I'm worried about taking my dogs out this weekend with the youth deer hunt on. I'll probably get them out anyway, but I'll pick and choose the right CA's. It sucks that the first three weekends of quail season coincide with deer hunters. But we know what makes the MDC more money.

I should have mentioned too that with the dog training permit, you have to have a site posted as a dog training area and yes, Elsah, you have to harvest those birds.

I have read those reports as well. Pen-raised birds will not survive long enough to establish breeding populations.
