DG, you have a right to be concerned, but no real need... I would be concerned with a breeder that didn't ask a lot of questions and seek to find a good home for his/her pups or started dogs. However with that said your being green is no sign you're a poor prospect. Just be honest, and tell the bree...

From my experiance it's very natural. I'd supply plenty of "rawhide Chewies" as wood probably won't hurt but can't be good as well. As to a training effect, I'd say not to worry, and let them chew on rawhides and be a puppy. Heck all my dogs enjoy to get a rawhide, from the youngest to the oldest. ....

formula , Both sound conditioning, and a bird or two. My main concern would be the gun-shy part. I doubt birds will be a problem, but if one is downed but not completely dead, a wing flapper can be scary to a young dog. I'd just be real careful with a dog that is just now being exposed and has just...

formula, There is a terrible misconception to training a hunting dog.... In most (maybe not all) cases these dogs know how to hunt, it's instinctive for them. What they need from us is the training on how to act in the field. Basic obedience with a emphasis on "not" sitting with whoa, but sitting on...

Justin, This is just my opinion and experience....Forget the 3.5" in the pump gun. In my opinion it's a fine semi-auto round , but not a pump round.
