Not thinking that she was going to leave an idiot to care for my dog. While she stayed upstairs of the kennels and...

Re: The Biscuit Eater?
Both of the movies versions . old & newer
The old one was the one I mentioned in the previous thread. The reason I mentioned the new one was because I felt perhaps only a couple ole timers like you and I would have known the original.

Hey, Yes I am familiar with Messina. I live in Oneonta just SW of Albany. My friend who got me into bird dogs has told me many stories of hunting in your neck of the woods back in the late 60's 70's and early 80's. Chateaugay was another place up there. My friend said back then the hunting was aweso...

Re: The Biscuit Eater?
I started with bird dogs in 1997 . The last time I saw the movie was before that. I would love to see it now . One memory of the movie was the kid crying and calling the dog " a biscuit eater" not realizing at the time that a biscuit was slang for a chicken. The scene reminded me of the movie The Ch...

Re: Hard headed dogs?
My thoughts are that what some call hard headed is determination .Someone who is thinking they are going to do what they want to do. That being the pup . I also feel that if you could harness this determination and have it work to your advantage you may be pleasently surprised.
